Personal Mission Statement:

My mission as a teacher is to foster personal and academic growth in my students by instilling in them a passion for learning as they pursue and practice the 7 Habits. Following the teachers who have made a positive impact on my life, I will be a catalyst for academic success, character development, and lifelong learning in my students. As I model kindness, integrity, and respect, I will encourage my students to do the same, creating a classroom culture where kindness, honesty, and positive behavior flourishes. My desire and mission are to lead my students in becoming proactive, independent, and critical thinkers through interactive lessons and experiences, setting clear expectations for discussion, assignment completion, and classroom behavior. As I encourage my students to be lifelong learners, I will lead by example collaborating with other colleagues, professionals, and administrators to learn best practices and successful strategies to implement into my own instructional planning. I will inspire and empower my students to be confident, capable leaders who will leave my classroom at the end of our school year equipped with the tools to thrive throughout their school years and into the communities they will impact!
